Our milled clean green peas are cleaned to certified seed standards prior to milling. This provides clean feed with no dirt, pods, weeds, or foreign material. We have a customized mill dedicated strictly for peas to prevent any contamination from our other Whole Grain Feed products. We slow speed mill our peas to fractionate them down to 1/4 or less with minimal dust to provide a nutrient rich product which is highly digestible in dry form.

Green peas are the highest quality nutrient dense pea on the market. The specific pea variety that we have selected is a proven provider in high nutrition, trace mineral content and extensive amino acid profile. They are bred for specific genetics such as high nutrition and seed coat strength. As with all of our products, our green peas are non-GMO. 

Field peas are used extensively in Europe in horse feed. They are an excellent source of protein.

Recommended Feeding Rates:

Horses: 0.5 to 1.5 lbs per head per day depending on energy requirements and workload.

Livestock rations: 10-30% of the daily total feed ration.

Rates are to be used as a base guideline only; ensure plenty of fresh water, salt and mineral. Feed change should be gradual over a three week period. Consult a nutritionist prior to feeding and exceeding rates.
